Capilano University is a public university founded in 1968 with three main campuses in North Vancouver, Sunshine Coast, and Squamish.

The North Vancouver campus is the largest and has the most extensive program offerings.

Tuition:

Standard Tuition Fee:

  • International Students: $631.38 CAD per credit*

    • Eg. Bachelor of Kinesiology Tuition: $88,780.68 CAD (~$20,800.00 CAD per year)
    • Eg. Bachelor of Legal Studies (Paralegal) Tuition: $88,323.93 CAD (~$21,000.00 CAD per year)
    • Eg. Bachelor of Motion Pictures Art Tuition: $128,463.59 CAD (~$31,000.00 CAD per year)
  • Tuition Deposit: If an applicant decides to accept the Offer of Admission from the University, they will be required to submit a non-refundable deposit of $5,000.00 CAD within 30 days of receiving the offer letter.

  9. Residential Fee (includes meal plan fee):  Starting at just $1,210 CAD per month
    • Shared (Double) Room: $4,826.86 CAD per term
    • Single Room: $5,615.34 CAD per term
    • There is a deposit of $500.00 CAD

Refund Policy:

If you have not received or have been denied a study permit/visa and cannot attend Capilano University, you must drop all classes before the start of the term to receive a full refund. The administrative fee of $500 CAD is subtracted from the refund amount.

Each room is furnished and includes a bed, desk, chair, and storage space. There are shared washrooms and communal kitchen facilities on each floor.
  2. Fir House: Fir House is a four-story building that can house around 250 students. It also provides single rooms, double rooms, and quad rooms. The rooms are similarly furnished and include a bed, desk, chair, and storage space. Like Cedar House, Fir House has shared washrooms and communal kitchen facilities on each floor.
